Membership Terms & Conditions

SHFT Training Ltd

1. Membership

Membership at SHFT Training provides access to facilities, coach-led sessions and services according to the membership type purchased.

Memberships are personal and may not be shared or transferred.

2. Payments

Membership fees are charged on a recurring monthly basis unless otherwise stated.

Monthly memberships:

  • are billed one cycle at a time
  • are charged on the 1st of each month
  • are prorated for partial months when joining mid-month

Payments are processed through our booking and membership platform, TeamUp.

Members are responsible for ensuring their payment details remain up to date. If a payment fails, access to classes or facilities may be restricted until the issue is resolved.

3. Membership Changes

Members may upgrade their membership at any time, subject to availability.

For 6-month or 12-month memberships, upgrades may be made during the membership period but downgrades are not permitted.

Upgrade requests must be submitted via email to [email protected].

Upgrades are processed manually by SHFT Training. Depending on the circumstances, the upgraded membership may either:

  • continue until the same end date as the existing membership, with the price adjusted accordingly, or
  • begin a new 6-month or 12-month membership term at the upgraded level.

The applicable option will be confirmed with the member at the time of the request.

4. Cancellation

Monthly memberships may be cancelled by providing one month’s notice via email to [email protected].

Membership access will remain active until the end of the notice period.

5. Membership Pauses

Monthly memberships cannot normally be paused.

In exceptional circumstances such as injury, a temporary pause may be granted at the discretion of SHFT Training.

6-month and 12-month memberships may be paused in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of SHFT Training. The duration of any pause will be determined based on the circumstances.

6. Class Packs

If a member is unable to complete a class pack due to unexpected circumstances such as serious injury or unexpected relocation, SHFT Training may allow:

  • a temporary pause of the remaining credits, or
  • the remaining credits to be transferred to another individual.

Any pause or transfer is granted at the discretion of SHFT Training. If credits are transferred, the original expiry date of the pack remains unchanged.

7. Class Bookings and Attendance

Classes must be booked in advance using the SHFT Training booking platform.

Members are responsible for cancelling bookings they cannot attend. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in loss of session credits or other restrictions.

Members are expected to arrive on time for classes. For safety and to avoid disruption, members arriving more than 5 minutes after the start of a class may not be permitted to participate at the coach’s discretion.

Further details may be outlined in the SHFT Training Class Booking Policy.

8. Open Gym Use

Members with open gym access may train during designated open gym hours.

At certain times, coached sessions may be taking place within the facility. Coached sessions will always have priority use of space and equipment.

Members using open gym are expected to train considerately and adapt their training where required.

9. Member Conduct

Members are expected to behave respectfully toward coaches, staff and other members. Members must follow coach instructions and use equipment responsibly.

SHFT Training reserves the right to refuse entry or terminate membership if behaviour is considered unsafe, abusive or disruptive.

10. Health and Safety

Members participate in physical activity at their own risk.

Members must inform coaches of any injuries, medical conditions or other circumstances that may affect their ability to exercise safely.

Members may be required to complete a health declaration or waiver before participating in training.

Members are responsible for their own personal belongings. SHFT Training Ltd accepts no responsibility for any lost, stolen or damaged items brought onto the premises.
